Project description:

Euroamérica is a private terminal that operates with refrigerated cargo (mostly fruit) and dry cargo (forest products, machinery and others). In 1996, an ambitious transformation project started. It included:

  • Extension and modernization of the pier.
  • Construction of refrigerated warehouses.
  • Construction of more than 20,000 m2 of warehouse for dry cargo
  • Demolition of old premises.
  • Construction of railway access.
  • Refurbishment of offices, training centers, maintenance premises, workshops, power and service facilities, scales, new gate, internal and external pavement.

Larrague y Asoc. was in charge of all the engineering projects, bid processes and technical direction of the works, as well as the Master Plan that served as the basis to develop the process that made Euroamérica become a modern and efficient terminal.
