Project description:

It was necessary to widen Dock Sud Channel due to the operation of big ships in Exolgan Container Terminal.

The firm elaborated the preliminary project that was used as the basis for the bid for the widenning of the East bank. In addition, we elaborated the preliminary project and the bid and work direction project for the widenning works, which included demolition of the existing gravity structure and construction of a new front, with diaphragm wall in the West bank.

We carried out blowing-ups, removed a more than 100 years old gravity wall, did anchorage execution and tests and constructed the new front consisting in a one-meter thick and up to thirty-meter deep diaphragm wall.
