Project description:
The project comprises developing premises for the storage of refrigerated
containers. The projected capacity of the premises will enable connection
for 1,200 40 ft containers.
The 50,000m2 yard is built on the flood valley of Itajaí
River and it has a highly compressible upper geotechnical profile.
For such purposes, a special soil movement program was created,
consisting of three construction stages. The first stage of the
project has finished and the second one is under execution.
The firm elaborated the whole engineering project, including the
yards, underground power wiring, premises for equipment, the Generating
and Transforming Substation (the terminal has capacity to generate
the power it requires for full cargo operation), access gate, scale
and the rest of the premises.
We elaborated the bid specifications, managed the bid and contract
awarding process and directed the works. |
