Port and Transport Engineering Projects

Project description:

San Antonio Este Port is operated by the company Patagonia Norte, under a concession granted by the province of Río Negro, owner of the port.

The sea premises, built 30 years ago, are severely damaged due to corrosion and degradation processes undermining its reinforced concrete superstructure.

PN decided to prepare a Maintenance and Repair plan for all the port terminal works in order to have a tool that enabled operation and investment planning.

We were in charge of preparing this plan and carried out an intensive study of all the infrastructure. We digitalized all the information and elaborated a complete maintenance and repair plan.

The plan was conceived to be completely computer operated, with data tracing and information update systems, repair methods, and continuous maintenance and control of the condition of the port structures.
