Project description:
Honduras´ ENP (National Port Company) is in charge of developing
the project of the new Cortez Port container terminal, which will
be partially financed by the Inter-American Development Bank (BID).
The Inter-American Development Bank (BID) hired Engineer Juan Larrague
to manage the bidding project for the new container terminal and
the capital dredging works for the new terminal and the access channel.
Eng. Larrague developed the works in Honduras, defining the layouts,
preparing the plans and elaborating the technical specifications
for the works bidding.
The bidding process for the construction was started, but it was
interrupted due to the political situation of Honduras until their
institutions got back to normal again.
