Project description:

The sea pier San Antonio Este was built in the 1970s and in the late 1990s the company Patagonia Norte was granted its concession.

The main work had not had any maintenance for 30 years and many elements of its structure were highly corroded.

During 2003, the firm carried out an assessment of the work condition and during 2004 it elaborated a repair project.

The works included tasks under the viaduct panel and piers with specially designed structures and under complex tide conditions (variations of up to 8 meters), rough weather and few operating windows. We were in charge of the technical direction of the works.

During 2009, later repair work was done in sidewalks, road surfaces and other details, as well as study and maintenance of protection against corrosion.
