Project description:

Tagsa Campana Chemical Product Terminal is the most modern liquid chemical product transfer terminal in South America.

It is being built in accordance with the most demanding international standards and, on its first phase, it has a storage capacity of 23,000 cubic meters of product, and once the current enlargement works are completed, it will have a 60,000 cubic meter capacity.

The Firm was in charge of this project from the first phase and it maintained close involvement in all stages until its inauguration.

During recent years, the engineering for the succeeding plant widenings was developed.

The engineering and construction supervision activities developed by the Firm included:

  • Hydraulic filling works to increase the elevation of the operation area.
  • Construction of access roads and operation and storage yards.
  • Construction of a viaduct, loading platform, dolphins and supplementary waterworks.
  • Slope stabilization and solution of geotechnical river margin problems, piping, connection of utility services, chambers and other minor works.
  • Plant civil works: foundation of tanks, pavements, drainage systems, scales.
  • Execution of all the enlargement stages to date.
  • Presentation and approval of the entire project, including the Environmental Impact Assessment at the Ministry of Infrastructure Port.
