Bid Analysis– Presentations - Feasibility Studies – Consulting and Technical Reports

Project description:

The Firm drafted the technical project for the Bidder that was awarded Terminal 1 and 2 in the Bid for the Port of Buenos Aires, whereby Terminals were granted in concession to private operators.

Terminal 1 + 2, which became Terminales Río de la Plata after its privatization, is the most important terminal in the Port of Buenos Aires in size and in service, as well as in container operation volume. It comprises jetties 1 and 2 of Puerto Nuevo, and it covers an area of more than 20 hectares.

Engineer Juan Larrague was hired to elaborate the technical documentation submitted by the Consortium, which included: gravity wall stability analysis, mandatory works project, terminal transformation works project, project of foundation structures for gantry crane mounting and all aspects related to civil works. The Department of Ports approved the project and, thus, the client was awarded the terminal.
